About the airport

More than 17 million passengers pass through the airport annually, using a wide range of services and connections to many destinations around the world. The airport is known for its modern facilities, high standard of service and emphasis on passenger comfort, which is why they have chosen Atrea as a supplier for professional ventilation solutions.

About the airport

Customer's requirements

The challenge

The customer had high demands not only on the functionality of the system, because the previous solution from another manufacturer did not work well, but also on the time press, as they needed to solve everything in just one month. We had the opportunity to prove our flexibility hand in hand with professionalism. It was necessary to take care of the elimination of odors from main brewhouse, two kitchens in the airport kitchen in food court for employees and for the two Burger King kitchens for passengers.

This specific project was a challenge that we met with flying colours. Thanks to this, we became part of the so-called Prague Airport standards, which confirms our top quality and reliability.

The challenge

Kitchen ceilings

The solution

We installed the entire HVAC system in just one month, including dismantling the old system. The kitchens were temporarily moved to adjacent spaces to meet the deadline. This quick and efficient process allowed the kitchens to continuously prepare food for the passengers on the planes.

The result?

Our solution works 100% and confirms that we are the best in the market. All requirements were met and the customer is extremely happy with the result

The solution

Principle of our ceilings

How does the ceiling connected to the unit work?

Our highly efficient (99%) ATREA ventilation ceilings have the option of using a DUPLEX Basic heat recovery unit for efficient air exchange in the kitchen.

Polluted air is extracted and filtered through high quality stainless steel filters and then also as an option eliminated by the UV-C filtration technology.

The ceilings are a closed system which means air-tight solution that preserves the building construction and eliminates smell into the premises. This solution provides optimal working conditions for the kitchen staff.

Atrea offers a complete system – ventilation ceiling with filtration together with air-handling unit and control system. All delivered and installed by one supplier!
