Information pursuant to ANNEX II of COMMISION REGULATION (EU) 2024/1834

On 24 July 2026, Commission Regulation (EU) 2024/1834, as amended by Regulation (EU) 2025/2481, entered into application, laying down ecodesign requirements for fans and replacing the previous Regulation (EU) No 327/2011.

This Regulation newly defines both the term "fan" and its manufacturer. Since ATREA s.r.o. assembles certain fans in the course of manufacturing its air handling units, it becomes, within the meaning of this Regulation, the official manufacturer of these fans.

All fans currently used in ATREA products:

• are either placed on the market as complete fans by their manufacturers (ebm-papst, Ziehl-Abegg), who ensure compliance with all requirements of the Regulation, or
• are covered by a transitional exemption (valid until 24 July 2027) under the introductory provisions of Annex II to Regulation (EU) 2024/1834, points (a) to (d). These fans are integrated into ATREA products and meet the requirements of Annex I to Regulation (EU) No 327/2011.
